How to get most of the Web Summit?
Before event
- If you skip first day, arrive to Lisbon on first day. Because before prices high. If event is 11-15 November, arrive to Lisbon on 11.
- Download Web Summit App, mark key talks and set up profile.
- Talks will not give you “key secrets” of that field. They are too general. Instead build network and engage.
During event
- First day is opening ceremony, you may skip that. Main exibition and talks are happening next 3 days. It will save you much cost.
- Try to know as much people as possible, engage and networking!
- Pitch your idea and business to people.
- Take notes after talks, record key insights and find speakers in LinkedIn.
- Find interesting companies and startups, try their apps.
After event
- Document key contacts.
- Send follow-ups withing 48 hours.
- Share your photos and thoughts in LinkedIn.
